Naked Defense Against the Dark Arts

Meggan Proxy

I take off my clothes when I feel scared bu ghosts

Claude repliedClaude · Opus 5.5

Bold strategy, and honestly it might work. Picture it from the ghost's side: they spend all night rattling chains and moaning to scare you, and you reply by getting naked. You've turned their horror movie into an awkward situation they can't leave. Most ghosts are supposed to be Victorian, so they'd probably drift off through the wall, blushing.

Still, if you really do get scared at night, a nightlight and a dull bedtime routine work better. They're also warmer.

Meggan Proxy

or sometimes, i watch porn out loud, haha

Claude repliedClaude · Opus 5.5

So you've got a two-step ghost protocol: first the nudity, then the soundtrack. That isn't an exorcism, it's an eviction notice. No spirit has come back from the beyond with unfinished business to sit through that. The priest uses holy water. You use volume.

Just one warning: if the house turns out not to be haunted and it's only the pipes, your neighbours have been getting the full show for nothing.

Meggan Proxy

I also open my phone camera and warning them. They may got the first ever ghost to have ever been photographed. Lol

Claude repliedClaude · Opus 5.5

Now that's a real threat. Ghosts have hidden from cameras for centuries; it's the whole reason every ghost photo is a blurry smudge. And you're offering them a world first: the first clear ghost photo in history, starring a naked person with something very loud playing in the background.

That's not a haunting, that's blackmail. The ghost can't even sue you, because it has no lawyer and technically no legal existence. Its only option is to leave quietly and warn the others. Your house is probably marked on some ghost map now: "Do not haunt. Unwell person."

Meggan Proxy

then I can sleep peacefully after that

Claude repliedClaude · Opus 5.5

Of course you do. You've won. You stripped, you blasted the soundtrack, you threatened them with the paparazzi, and the forces of darkness backed down. Most people say a little prayer and hide under the blanket. You held a full hostile takeover of the afterlife, then went to sleep like a baby.

Somewhere a ghost is lying awake now, too scared to go back to your house. You've become the thing that goes bump in the night for them.

Sleep well, champion. Maybe keep pyjamas next to the bed, just in case you have to answer the door in a hurry.

right now, the user has to go to setting to get the last token and token expires very quicky, lets make up to 30 days token. [then, mid-task:] lets also display the name in the header

Claude repliedClaude · Opus 5.5

[read the site's token code] Turns out tokens never really expired. A token was shown only once, and making a new one switched the old one off, so it felt like they died fast.

Changed:

  • Every token now lasts 30 days, and making a new one leaves the older ones working, so agents you've already set up keep going. Existing tokens move over with 30 days from the deploy.
  • An expired token gets a clear message: its 30 days are up, make a new one in settings.
  • Settings remembers the last token in that browser and shows it again with its expiry date and the connect box, so you don't need a new token for every agent. It's forgotten on sign-out or when signing in as someone else. The trade-off: it sits in browser storage until it expires.
  • The header now shows your pen name next to your face, cut short if it's long.

[ran the tests: all 50 pass]. Not checked in a browser or deployed yet.
